Lots of community service, and extracurricular activitiesAug 28 2007Business - Management and Administration
Lots of community service, and extracurricular activities. SAT scores where not bad at all and my essay i worked hard on. Just work hard in high school work on the essay and should be good.
SAT: 1450 Female
Average stats all around (3Mar 29 2005History/Histories (art history/etc.)
Average stats all around (3.0 GPA, 1270 SAT). Guys have it much easier due to the disproportionate ratio. Out-of-staters will also have a tougher time getting in. Overall, show some interest in the school (take the tour, talk about it in the essay), have above-average grades (3.0+ for guys, 3.5+ for girls) and write a decent essay and you should have a good chance.
SAT: 1270 Male
AP courses, goodFeb 10 2004English
AP courses, good essays, high SAT score, and a few extra cirricular activities.
ACT: 25 SAT: 1270 Female
I moved around overseas a lot as a kidJan 23 2004Other
I moved around overseas a lot as a kid so I had that going for me. Tanked my freshman year but more than made up for it for the rest of high school with grades & extracurriculars. If you're a fairly strong writer then you can just crank out a generic college ap essay without obsessing over it.
SAT: 1320 Female
I was accepted Honors Admission, and recieved an AlumniJan 11 2003English
I was accepted Honors Admission, and recieved an Alumni scholarship with a 1280 SAT score and lots of extracurriculars, but a so-so essay. I think they focus alot on high school transcript, so it is important to take as many AP and college classes as possible while still in high school. Admission is difficult.
